Halloween 2008

The kids came over to Nan's house first and then we headed out to the parade starting at the middle school. They did great walking and Sage got a ride in the stroller with Grampy pushing. While Wyatt (a Ninja Turtle) and Dakota (a she Devil) went to do more trick or treating, Sage (a Princess) came to Nan's house and fell asleep.

GrandKids Oct 25th

Bruce and I picked up the grandkids to watch the boys soccer playoff game. They had a great time playing with another little boy named Logan. They kicked a soccer ball and Wyatt had his football with him. Wyatt wanted the green team to win which was not the home team. The green team eventually did win 2-0. We then came back to Nan's to put puzzles together.

Storyland Summer 08

Bruce and I were able to take the grandkids, Wyatt and Dakota, to Storyland in New Hampshire. We had a great day until it started to rain, but by then we were almost ready to leave. Wyatt loved ALL the rides, but Dakota was scared of the faster rides and so Nan and Dakota watched Grampy and Wyatt ride those. We can't wait for next year!

Mobile

Bruce has been working at Austal Shipyard in Mobile, Alabama. He started in May and goes back and forth for approximately 3 week units. This last time he was down for 5 weeks and so I was able to visit him during Columbus Day weekend. These are pictures of Austal, Gulf Shores (where we went to Shrimp Fest), and the USS Alabama.

Sarah

This post will be all about our daughter Sarah Elizabeth. She graduated on June 5th, 2008 and is attending SMCC in Maine. She lives at home and is taking classes at the Bath site as well as online. Her class load includes PreCalculus, English, US History, and Philosophy. She worked as a breakfast opener at a local inn called the Cod Cove Inn for the summer and lobstered with her grandfather. She even got a catering job for a summer wedding. She currently works 4 shifts at a local restaurant called the Roadhouse. I have included some pictures from graduation and our trip to California. Look for another post about our oldest daughter, Kristin Renee, in a couple of days.

Sage

And last but not least, the 1 year old granddaughter. She started walking a couple months ago. She still has not come to Nan's house by herself. Soon.

Dakota

This is my oldest granddaughter. She loves her big brother and tries to do everything he does. She is 2 years old.

Wyatt

This is my oldest grandson named Wyatt. He is 3 years old and enjoys being active. He can't wait for Halloween because he will be a Ninja Turtle. He is also a Patriots fan.

Hiking

Here are some photos of our Hut to Hut hike in New Hampshire. Bruce and I invited my cousin Laura to come with us and we left in June for one week in the White Mountains. I will definitely try to go again next summer. It was an experience that I will never forget.

Welcome.......

This will be my attempt at having a family blog. I saw Tim Hart's and his is so great. It also seems like a perfect way to stay in touch with family.
