Field Trip

Ok, so I know I was supposed to add pictures from the Maine Summer Adventure!  But...just thinking about taking some pictures of the Greek Church down the road with the sun coming up.  Wouldn't that be just fabulous?!

Does that mean that I ought to get dressed or just wear my pj's- hmmm not a long wait for an answer to that one.  After all, I do live in the South now y'all, where one cannot go out without getting dressed including teeth brushed, hair and make up done, etc.  Hope the sun waits and I get good photos!

Ok, so I get there and it opens to the public at 9am so I am officially an hour early.  I take some pictures anyway and then hopefully I will go back so I can see inside as well.

Isn't this beautiful!!

I especially liked this one as you can see the sun glinting off the stained glass windows.
The next couple are close ups of mosaics and door frame work.

The next one is also one of my favorites.

Greek churches are quite pretty. My stepfather was Greek, so we attended plenty of Greek weddings in my younger years!

Thanks for reading! I do not have a great list of followers- as you can see! Just posted a post about my 15 miler yesterday. Love reading about what other runners are doing, esp marathoners. I like how you posted your marathons and times down the right hand side-is that just a design setting? I think I will add mine. Come south and run one!!!! Other than Disney- lol:)

It's funny, when I first started my blog, I had just a couple of followers (and one was my mom!), but now it's growing and so that's exciting.

In the 'design' mode, I just used one of the "Add a Gadget" placeholders and used it to record my marathons. Not only for bragging rights :) but also to give people an idea of where you are in terms of distance/speed/etc.

We love traveling for races, so I might just find myself South-bound one of these times! You'll be the first to know!
